My Storylisa-morse-naturopath-doctor

It’s been a long journey to where I am now, all of it a learning experience.

For many years I had problems with my digestion and thought that I simply had to live with them. But eventually I realized that I needed to seek out help. I went to various doctors, including Naturopathic Physicians, with some relief but residual symptoms that plagued me.

During that time I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease – Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. I didn’t understand why my body was attacking itself and I became curious about autoimmunity.I learned about the various triggers for autoimmune disease and sought out treatment for them.

Eventually, through my own research and exploration, I got to a place where painful bloating in my abdomen wasn’t a daily occurrence and my life didn’t center around my digestive distress. I also saw my anti-thyroid antibody levels drop. I began to enjoy eating again and felt comfortable in my body.

Because I know what it’s like to suffer from these complaints, I’ve made it my mission to help others on their path to healing their digestion as well as autoimmunity. You don’t have to suffer with digestive complaints, no matter what any doctor has told you. There is a root cause to your digestive distress that I will help you uncover. And you don’t have to feel hopeless about having an autoimmune disease because there is hope!
